This policy covers roninman.com and everything we do with your information when you use it. "We", "us" and "Rōnin Man" mean the people who run this site. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
Your email address, when you give it to us for the exclusive video, summit updates, or coaching. That's the only personal detail our forms ask for.
Payment details go to PayPal or Wise, not to us. When you pay for a summit or coaching, you pay through their sites. We see that a payment came in and who it came from. We never see or store your card or bank numbers.
Messages you send us by email or Telegram, including anything you choose to tell us in them.
Basic technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our host, Cloudflare, collects this to keep the site running and safe.
How you use this site. We keep our own simple visitor statistics: which pages you open, what you click, how far you scroll, how long you stay, whether you play the film or a voice note, and roughly where in the world you are (country only). This runs on our own systems, not on an ad network, and nothing is sold or shared. Your browser gets a random id so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. If you give us your email, that history is linked to it so Rōnin can see what you were interested in before you wrote to him.
The Crew on Telegram. If you join the Crew through our link, your Telegram name is linked to the email you gave us, so we know who is in the room. Leave the room at any time; ask and we remove the link.
What we do with it
Send you what you asked for: the exclusive video, letters from Rōnin, summit dates, coaching details.
Answer you when you write to us.
Confirm and organize your summit spot or coaching once you've paid.
Keep the site working and protect it from abuse.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent our list. We do not run advertising on this site.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work, and only what they need:
Kit (kit.com) stores our email list and sends our emails.
PayPal and Wise handle payments under their own privacy policies.
Cloudflare hosts the site and routes our email.
Telegram, if you choose to message Rōnin there.
YouTube, when you watch a video embedded on this site. YouTube may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed where we can.
Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, which means your browser requests them from Google.
We would also share information if the law required it.
Cookies
This site sets one small cookie of its own (a random visitor id, so we can recognise you if you come back) and stores the same id in your browser's local storage. No ad-network or cross-site tracking cookies. Embedded YouTube players and the payment services may set their own cookies when you use them. Clear your browser's cookies and site data for roninman.com and the id is gone.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list.
Email [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, including your visit history. We'll do it within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Payment and booking records are kept as long as accounting rules require.
Age
This site, the summits and the coaching are for adults. If you're under 18, please don't give us your details.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new date at the top.
Either way, your spot is only locked once Rōnin confirms by email — he answers every one himself. All summit sales are final — but the adventure is the refund.
