Some things a screen can't teach you. A few times a year, a small band of men meets me somewhere worth the flight — Japan, Thailand, Indonesia.

We'll carry the shrine. Pull the rope. Stand under festival drums that have been beating for 600 years. We climb, we swim, we eat like kings, we laugh hard — and somewhere in the middle of it, you remember what fully alive feels like.

Life is just a bunch of moments. These are the good ones.
